As David’s assistant, I worked on the Vectorworks drafting and model building. With three acts demanding very different locations that had to change behind the main curtain, space was very limited. A turntable was used in conjunction with rolling units, walls that pivoted into position, and arches that flew into place. Whenever the ground plan of one act was changed, the other two would need to be modified in order to accommodate it.
